Dr. Matthews specializes in no-stitch, no-patch, no-shot cataract surgery. She delivers the latest in customized premium intraocular lens technology. She excels in minimally invasive glaucoma surgery including aqueous shunting procedures for advanced glaucoma. She enjoys external ocular procedures and is capable of managing both conjunctival and orbital lesions. She cares for diabetes and macular degeneration and also performs intravitreal injections. Dr. Whitfield specializes in no-stitch, no-patch, no-shot cataract surgery. She delivers the latest in customized premium intraocular lens technology. She performs minimally invasive glaucoma surgery in conjunction with cataract surgery. She enjoys the screening and medical management of a number of ocular issues, including: diabetes, macular degeneration, cataracts, dry eyes, glaucoma, pterygiums, periocular lesions and neuro-ophthalmic disease. Dr. Whitfield was born and raised in Tallahassee and is privileged to now be serving patients within her hometown.
